You may read, quote and share links to the content of this site. When you quote our material, name the source, and do not present it as your own work or create the impression that we endorse you, your product or your organisation where no such relationship exists.

Do not disrupt the site, download its content automatically or in bulk in a way that burdens or endangers its operation, or use the contact forms to send unsolicited messages.

The calculators and the estimation method

The cost and return-on-investment (ROI) calculators rest on models and assumptions and are not forecasts of actual business results. They apply selected methodological frameworks and assumptions to the data you enter, including SHRM's methodology for estimating employee turnover costs, the AIHR framework for valuing people programmes, and weightings derived from Gallup's 2024 meta-analysis.

The results are indicative estimates meant to inform and support thinking about business decisions. They are not financial, legal or accounting advice and do not guarantee that the estimated savings or other results will be achieved. Decisions with significant financial or other consequences should not rest solely on the results of public calculators. Read the results in the context of your own organisation, bearing in mind the assumptions used and the limits of the estimate.

Content and ownership

The text, design, methodology descriptions and software on this site belong to Motiva Metrics, except third-party content that is marked as such or is subject to other rights holders' rights. The scientific theories, models and methodologies our work is based on, including Self-Determination Theory and organisational commitment theory, belong to their authors and rights holders. Mentioning and applying them does not mean Motiva Metrics claims authorship of them.

Client names, logos and testimonials are published with the appropriate approval where one is required, and remain the property of their rights holders.

Accuracy and limits of the information

We aim to keep the information on the site accurate and up to date and to correct errors we notice. Even so, we cannot guarantee that all content is complete, current or error-free at every moment. Descriptions of products and their capabilities are for information and may change. If a piece of information matters to your business decision or to working with us, ask us to confirm it in writing.

Links to other sites

The site may contain links to external sites and services, such as scheduling tools, scientific publications and other organisations' websites. We have no direct control over their content, availability or terms of use, so your use of them is your own responsibility, under those sites' terms and applicable law.

If you are a customer

These terms apply to use of the public website and do not replace or change the agreement between your organisation and Motiva Metrics. Use of the platform, the scope of services and the rights and obligations of the parties are governed by that agreement. Where these terms and the agreement disagree, the agreement applies.

Changes to the terms of use

Motiva Metrics may change these terms from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when they last changed. We recommend checking this page now and then to see the current version.
